14:40 Wolverhampton – Shouldvebeenaring

SHOULDVEBEENARING kept on improving throughout last season after a busy campaign rounding off with some excellent efforts up at the very top level. He’s already proven that he handles a synthetic surface and this looks like an ideal opportunity to get a victory on the board for a team that has farmed this race in the past.

15:15 Wolverhampton – Sir Busker (each-way)

The old boy SIR BUSKER looks to retain plenty of zest. Having put up some solid performances over further recently, including in the winter Derby trial. back down in distance with the young apprentice, taking off an additional 5lbs he looks attractively weighted in what is a winnable Lincoln trial handicap. It’s time for him to roll back the years.

16:25 Wolverhampton – Ciotog

CIOTOG nearly managed to collect for us last time over a furlong shorter and now reappears over what could well prove his ideal distance. He’s been given a middle drawer in a race that lacks a lot of natural pace, so he should get the box seat in behind the leaders. The father and son combination continue to enjoy a very productive time together.

17:35 Wolverhampton – Quiet Resolve

Stepped up on his third try over 7 furlongs at Newcastle, beating a really hot Newmarket contender that was all the rage. The handicapper looks to have given QUIET RESOLVE a golden opportunity from a very lenient-looking 78 and over the tricky start He is only four horses off the inside so can gain an important position early.

18:40 Wolverhampton – Sunblock

SUNBLOCK looked pretty decent at a low level when winning on her stable debut over the long sprint at Wolverhampton. She was an expensive failure when trying to back up that effort at Newcastle and makes a very quick reappearance here, but interestingly steps up in distance. They obviously feel the journey to Newcastle was a complete right off, and if they allow her to take her chance, she can pop up again in the lucky last.
