15:05 – Clonbury Bridge

I like Clonbury Bridge, who won last time off a mark of 100. He’s gone up 7lbs for that but he’s still at the right end of the weights with Sam Ewing on board.

Millstream Lady is also of interest. She won at Naas in January and she ran into Bioluminescence on her last start at Limerick in March. She won cosily at Naas and it looked like she’d been targeting this for a while.

15:40 – Slade Steel or Tullyhill

This race depends on the weather. The rain is supposed to be coming and if the ground is on the slower side, Slade Steel will be impossible to beat. Providing the rain comes, you can’t be against Henry de Bromhead’s runner. If it dries up, Tullyhill could run a big race and he’s a decent each-way chance. Asian Master could also go well and run a decent race at a bigger price, especially if the rain comes.

16:15 – Toto Too

Daddy Long Legs won last time out at Ludlow but he won’t want the rain. Toto Too is interesting for Gavin Cromwell. He impressed when winning at Naas last time out and he’s going in the right direction. There’s more to come from him and he can run a big race.

16:50 – King Rasko Grey

Willie Mullins has four runners in here: King Rasko Grey, Heffay, Jonzac and Runcok. King Rasko Grey is working really well at home and Patrick has opted to ride him. Any of them could improve and this looks impossible to call but I’ll side with King Rasko Grey if I have to give a fancy.

17:25 – Captain Guinness or Gentleman De Mee

Dinoblue is in good form. She had a change in tactics at Cheltenham and I thought she was close enough to get by Limerick Lace in mares’ race. I was slightly disappointed and I like Captain Guinness‘ chances. The way the race will be run with Dysart Dynamo and Saint Sam, that will suit Henry de Bromhead’s runner. Gentleman De Mee is also worth keeping an eye on. He has a habit of cropping up and winning these races. If the rain comes, I’m with Captain Guinness and if it stays dry, I like Gentleman De Mee.

18:00 – Montys Star

Embassy Gardens never got into a rhythm at Cheltenham and he has to improve to win this race. The more I look at it, the more I like Montys Star. He was second to Fact To File in the Brown Advisory at Cheltenham and the Punchestown track will really suit him. Jumping counts here and his jumping is decent.

18:35 – Unknown Entity

Unknown Entity ran in a point earlier this year and was second to the Derek O’Connor-trained That’s Nice at Belharbour. He’s only been with us for a couple of months so he is an unknown entity to us as well!
