Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a tip-loaded NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the picks you’ll require for that day.
Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test for us, so we’re going to use it to steer you in the direction what could be a smart Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
13:00 Doncaster – Find (sportinglife.com)
FIND handily made all in a 7-furlong novice contest at Yarmouth in August and John & Thady Gosden’s charge is certainly a useful sort. A bounce back from the colt on his nursery bow would not be a surprise.
15:15 Doncaster – Not So Sleepy (Cambridge Evening News: Luke Tucker)
NOT SO SLEEPY hasn’t appeared since being a far from disgraced seventh placed finisher in the Chester Cup back in May. The rest of the field won’t want to give too much leeway to Hughie Morrison’s highly talented nine-year-old.
15:50 Doncaster – Kolisi (Yorkshire Post: The Duke)
Titian may be the Haggas stable’s number one because KOLISI hasn’t gone on as one would’ve liked in handicaps. But, the gelding seemed destined for better things when cosily scoring in a Salisbury maiden back in June and if he finds that form again, he will be a danger here. The Blinkers are applied too, and that may just be the trick.
16:30 Newbury – Molls Memory (The Times: Rob Wright)
Provided the ground stays deep as forecasted, Caribou and MOLLS MEMORY will be very intriguing runners as they remain unbeaten on heavy going. The Ed Walker-trained entrant was a winner of this race in 2019 and 2020 (both of which took place on heavy going). She also won on heavy conditions at Haydock in May. She may have flown too high into Listed company back at Ascot, but the mare should be spot-on for this contest.
