18:30 – Miss Sunset Strip
Four of these met over C&D 12 days ago with MISS SUNSET STRIP faring best in being only beaten a head into second. She can go one better this time with cheekpieces given a go, though third-home Thanks Dad may finish closer as he was making a belated debut last time. Royal Praise is another to consider having been off three months since his much-improved effort at Southwell, while the newcomer Qatar Wave is worth a market check with her dam’s record around here reading 113181.
19:00 – Dors Toyboy
Nothing comes into this in better form than No News, but he has to prove he can show his best form away from Kempton, especially after 99 days off. Roger Henry is worth a second look on handicap debut, while cases can be made for Fayasel, So Chic and Heerathetrack. However, the vote goes to dual C&D winner DORS TOYBOY who has dropped to an attractive mark and has shown a few times lately than he may be about to take advantage.
19:30 – Epic Express
Noodle Mission could easily build on last month’s Wolverhampton win, while the ultra-consistent Sandy Paradise seems sure to run his race again. However, EPIC EXPRESS has returned from a break in good order judging by his two efforts over 6f at Lingfield since reappearing and the step back up in trip is no problem at all.
20:00 – Daaris
Golden Dove and Devizes are respected, while Bascinet has a good record here so would be interesting if the market suggested he was ready after a year off. The safer option, however, looks to be DAARIS who is just 1-21 but looked unlucky not to win over 2m here a fortnight ago.
20:30 – Big Blue Boy
Despite being much more exposed than his rivals, Zachary is respected being the only previous winner in the field with both successes coming here. It’s Showtime wasn’t far behind him here last time and should go well again, but preference is for BIG BLUE BOY who finished a close third over C&D a week ago and races off the same mark.
21:00 – Cavalluccio (NAP)
Isle Of Sark seems likely to run another creditable race, though others are preferred for the win. Wonder Starelzaam has been off for eight months, but is back off his last winning mark and his record fresh makes him a player. The choice is CAVALLUCCIO (nap) who has only once finished out of the frame in eight starts over C&D and should appreciate the return to this trip after two good efforts over 1m.
