18:10 Newcastle – Harry Brown

HARRY BROWN was thoroughly progressive last season, going through the grades very nicely in the sprinting division and continued that good form in some solid handicaps on the turf. His return to action was excellent at Wolverhampton and this track may well suit him even better and he receives lumps of weight from the main contender and gets 19lbs off Albasheer.

19:00 Wolverhampton – Trois Blancs

TROIS BLANCS was picked up for 11,000 guineas at the ‘Horses in Training’ sale and starts out for the new team in a very winnable handicap. He also drops back down in distance with Rossa Ryan taking over. That’s some combination already and added to that he’s a low-mileage improver, who surely has a bit of wiggle room from just a rating of 55.

19:20 Dundalk – I Bid You Ajou

I BID YOU AJOU did really well to only get tired and give way later on in his last contest over this course and distance. Considering how keen he was in the early stages, his handler reaches for the hood to calm him down, and also secures the services of the excellent Colin Keane up on top. He dips his toe into handicap company on a realistic-looking 70.

19:30 Wolverhampton – Keady Town

KEADY TOWN is likely to fly slightly under the radar on his first handicap run, owing to the fact that we have some choice pedigrees and some recent winning form on show for punters to latch onto. This lad was still very raw and babyish throughout his final try over a shorter distance at Lingfield. He’s had a break of 162 days and has also been gelded.

20:30 Wolverhampton – Enzos Angel

ENZOS ANGEL won on his first try for new trainer Neil Mulholland. He bolted up over this course and distance  but was unable to follow up that success when stepping up in trip last time. Dropping back down to 9f again is going to suit and as he was previously rated much higher by the assessor than his current perch of just 60. He should make it two out of three for the new trainer.
