Each and every day on the racing calendar we bring you a punt-loaded NAPs table to give you the inside track on all the picks you’ll need for that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that great guide to the work for us, so we’re going to use it to point you towards what could be a lively Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

14:17 Galway – Bois De Clamart (The Irish Sun)

BOIS DE CLAMART 10th of 13 in Fairyhouse handicap hurdle back in February. Elizabeth Doyle will be hoping first time cheekpieces will bring about an improvement as the gelding switches from hurdles to chase here.

14:45 Wincanton – Vision Des Flos (myracing.com)

VISION DES FLOS merits serious consideration at the Somerset track and seems to be getting his act together. He is seeking a three-timer today after scoring back-to-back victories at Uttoxeter and Warwick over 2m 4f. He also should be effective over this longer trip.

15:00 Aintree – Tamaroc Du Mathan (Weekender: Paul Kealy)

TAMAROC DU MATHAN flopped at Ayr in April in his previous outing. But, if judged on chase victory at Kempton in Grade 2 novice back in February, the Paul Nicholls entrant certainly has potential off this mark. He’s the pick ahead Nuts Well, who seems evergreen at 10-year-old. He won this race last year and returned to the track with a win up at Kelso at the beginning of the month. Allmankind has to be respected after having a stellar novice chase campaign last term.

16:10 Aintree – Pounding Poet (The Times: Rob Wright)

POUNDING POET eased his to a tight win last time out at Warwick back in May, even if he did have had to wait for a clear run that day. Tom Lacey’s charge is unexposed and is seeking a hat-trick here after scoring at Warwick and Southwell in his previous pair of outings. He has all the tools to defy an 8lbs rise in the ratings here.
