An interesting race. Previous bumper winners Lady Temperance and Coole Og are both respected, but the impression created by JUMPING JET on debut at Gowran Park in March was very striking and she is hard to oppose on her debut for Gordon Elliott.
A cracking contest this and plenty of these will be winning this season. Sixshooter is a very interesting recruit and The Bosses Oscar should build on his Listowel debut. The class act of the race is SAMS PROFILE though, who is out encouragingly early and can make a better start over fences than 12 months ago.
The Dabbler should go close in his hat-trick bid, while Theatre World has every chance if able to run to the same level as his very unluckly effort at Listowel. However, the return to form of TESSERACT (NAP) at Tipperary last time was very encouraging and he can take some beating.
A wide open if quite weak contest. Sir Bob and Hilltop Supreme are both interesting although both might need the run. WAKE UP EARLY is inconsistent, but is capable and a winner over course and distance.
An intriguing little race. Donacheady Gale could improve considerably and Perfect Attitude looks likely to. BALLYWILLIAM BOY is solid though, and has the form in the book. Whatever beats him will win.
The promise shown by Chinx Of Light on his debut at Punchestown in March augurs well for his season. But, he may meet his match here in FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU, who mixed it with great credit in bumpers two seasons ago and will take plenty of beating if fit enough to do himself justice.
Back on his favoured soft ground BIG KING can resume the progress he showed last season, having shown he can run well fresh in the past. Bottom weight Young Fitzy is the least exposed and looks the type to make his mark in handicaps, although he encounters softer ground than when winning his maiden last time.
Willie Mullins has taken this race in two of the last three years and his representative MOON RISE BEAUTY is taken to get the better of the Gordon Elliott-trained point-to-point winner See A Stride. The experienced Kilbarry Chloe looks a solid place option, while both The Model Kingdom and Sarahrunsforjack are worth market checks.
