Think you know your top-flight onions? Sick of explaining to your mates that you would be world’s greatest tipster if you just had the chance to prove it?
Well, the time to mix it with the big boys is here.
That’s right, Paddy’s pulled out all the stops to seal the transfer swoop of the season and sign up mighty Mark Lawrenson to deliver his Premier League predictions right here on Paddy Power News each and every week.
And now you can pit your wits against the former Liverpool defender turned top pundit for the chance to win cold hard cash.
Are you brave enough to take on Lawro? Every week we’ll be giving you, the Paddy Power punter, the chance to throw your hat into the ring to take down our game-calling Goliath. And if you can fell Lawro in his weekly tipping competition you’ll pocket £/€50 cash straight into your Paddy Power account, and we’ll keep rolling over that amount if he does the business, too.
You need to outscore Lawro with one point awarded for the right result and three points for a correct scoreline (maximum of 3 points per game, there’s not four-pointers here). If it’s a draw we’ll go to a tie-breaker of who got the most correct scores. If it’s still level after that we’ll go to goal difference vs the actual results.
If the weekly prize isn’t won it rolls over until someone can outsmart the Premier League Pythagoras.
After leaving his prediction job with the BBC, Mark Lawrenson has had a bit of time on his hands…
All you need to do is follow the simple instructions on the @PaddyPower Twitter page putting out the call to the brave and bold to get involved.

Full Ts&Cs
Who can take part?
The promotion is available for new and existing customers with registered Paddy Power accounts in Ireland and the UK, aged 18 or over
Accounts must be fully verified
Employees of Flutter Entertainment are not eligible for the competition
How and when can I qualify?
Challenge Lawro is a free-to-enter football tipping competition. The competition consists of rounds where a prize can be won by an entrant scoring more points via a system of correct scores and correct results (3 points for a correct score, 1 point for a correct result) than Mark Lawrenson across Premier League fixtures (the “Competition” and each round of the Competition being a “Round”)
If there is a dead heat following the predictions between the entrant and Mark Lawrenson, a tie-breaker of who has the most correct scores will be used. If the scores are still level a ‘goal difference’ of predictions v actual results will be used with the lowest cumulative score winning.
If following the predictions being made a match in that Round is postponed, the predictions made for that match in that Round will be void
How to Enter
The entry mechanism for each Round will be announced on Paddy Power’s Twitter account
How does the Competition work?
Score predictions for Premier League matches across each Round must be submitted by a fixed deadline, which a Paddy Power representative will send to the selected Entrant
All Entrants for every Round of the Competition will be selected at random by a Paddy Power representative
The scoring system for the competition is 1 point for a correct result, and 3 points for a correct score. A maximum of 3 points can be scored per match per Round (IE: you can’t score points for both a correct score and correct result on the same match)
Prizes
A minimum prize of £/€50 cash will be awarded to the Paddy Power account of the entrant if they score more points than Mark Lawrenson in a Round
The prize will rollover to the next Round if they do not score more points than Mark Lawrenson
