I think Villarreal are going to make it through. That’s what my head and my heart say. I’ve backed them a couple of times through this tournament. They have a first leg lead but it could have been even better.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted how bad his side were in the first half. Credit to Bernd Leno, I’ve been critical of him, but he pulled off some fantastic saves to keep them in the game, particularly from Gerard Moreno at 2-0.
Thursday 8pm: Arsenal v Villarreal

The positive for Arsenal is that they’ll be a bit fresher. Newcastle didn’t put up any sort of a fight whatsoever at the weekend and Arsenal made about eight changes. Villarreal got a few kicks against Getafe which was always going to happen.

But, in terms of an angle, Both Teams to Score I can definitely see this happening here. It’s probably your best bets because the match and to qualify prices all look about right in what is a massive game for Arsenal.
Gerard Moreno to Score First
Gerard Moreno’s been fantastic in La Liga and he’s got over 20 goals this season. In terms of producing for Villarreal he’s either scored or assisted a goal in their last six or seven games. He should have scored in the first leg and I think he’ll find the back of the net this time. Gerard Moreno to Score First is a decent price.
In terms of Arsenal Nicolas Pepe’s been their main man in Europe this season and has been involved with 10 goals, scoring six, so maybe one for Arsenal fans depending on what the line up is but for anyone else it’s Gerard Moreno to Score First.
