Tai Sing Yeh impressed when winning last time out but I’m hoping the pace in the race will see Little Queenie make a move and win. Leigh Roche is on board in stall one and he could sit behind the pace and pick the others off. She’s well handicapped and she’s got course form.
Golden Sandbanks is interesting but he’s been off the track for a long time so I’ll probably just watch him. I’m with Supreme Law for Matthew Smith who is open to further improvement after finishing second here earlier this month on his first run since changing trainers. Colin Keane is on board too which is always a bonus.
This is a very competitive race. Bowerman is carrying top weight which could leave him vulnerable and I like Roman Bull, who has cheekpieces on for the first time with Declan McDonogh on board. However, the standout is Cold Steel, who is on a hat-trick. He hasn’t ran since December at Dundalk and he can improve despite his time off the track.
Betrayed will go off at a strong pace which will play into Hero Of The Hour’s hands. We put him up a couple of weeks ago but the race wasn’t run to suit at all. This should be different and he’s well handicapped.
Heartrate ran well on her return to action earlier this month but the standout is Sea Chariot. He finished sixth in February but that was behind Stormy Entry and Cash Out so the form is solid. A run similar to that should be enough to win.
Riesling is an interesting one for Henry de Bromhead and a mark of 66 is workable but I’m on Memorial Verse for Eddie Lynam. She’s been a bit keen but she ran well to finish fourth behind Distillate last time out. She can reverse that form if things go her way.
This could be a tight race but I like Punk Poet for Eddie Lynam. He’s back up to his best trip of 7f as it didn’t go to plan over 6f. The run last week will have him ready to win.
Ellabella drops down in class and she can give a good account of herself but Feature This is really well handicapped for Paul Flynn. He finished second last time out and can improve again to hopefully get in the winners’ enclosure.
