Estepona Sun has run well here before and should give another good account but preference is for NIKINI who ran with credit in a Grade 3 bumper last time. There’s every chance she’s capable of further progress now tackling hurdles for the champion trainer. Spick And Span was in the process of running a big race before coming down last time out and she should go well if she’s no worse for that fall.

17:55 – Mr MacPhisto (NAP)
This will not take much winning and MR MACPHISTO (nap) has fairly obvious claims of following up his recent course win from just 4lb higher. Cracklinrose could be the main threat and is taken to chase the selection home again. Bergentown has been in poor form but he has come down to a good mark on his peak efforts and Mr Brogue showed a bit more last time out.
18:25 – Esperti
It’s hard to oppose ESPERTI who has been running with credit in deeper races than this of late and he should be hard to beat if he’s in the same form. Secret She Keeps isn’t ruled out if she could find her best form and Cozone showed a bit of promise on his sole hurdle outing.
18:55 – Waitnsee
Best not to get bogged down in ratings and it is difficult to propose a winner here without knowing the prices in a market that is hard to predict. At the forecast odds, WAITNSEE is a speculative pick as she stays well and is in proven form, whilst having a proven liking for this course, as have a few of these.
19:25 – Grangeclare Native
This is wide open with several of these arriving in decent form. Steps Match and Ardaghs Choice are closely matched on their recent Limerick efforts and they can both go well again. However, slight preference is for GRANGECLARE NATIVE who was a recent runner-up here and he may have more to give at this new trip. Pairc Na Ngael is another that should appreciate more of a stamina test.

JACK HACKETT has a fine course record and, this race looking straightforward tactically on paper, he seems the most probable winner. Few are easily ruled out. Pretty Little Liar is dangerous if getting into a rhythm.
20:25 – Hermine
Jody Townend’s mounts in bumpers often represent value and Leitrim Park, who she rode at Limerick, may have to settle for second-best as the pedigree of HERMINE is appealing.
