Dandy’s Angel also arrives in good form and she’s likely to be in the mix provided this doesn’t come too soon after her outing at Pontefract on Wednesday. Wild Thunder won by 5l under Serena Brotherton two starts ago and is next on the list.

Dreams Of Thunder was in fine form earlier in the season but she’s returning from a two-month break and preference is for TRUE JEM (nap), who has been running well and should appreciate the drop back down to 6f.
18:17 – Sir Laurence Graff
Of those with experience, Batemans Bay and Ramz have shown the best form while Sea Squared (second choice) and Sir Jock Bennett may be open to the most improvement. However, SIR LAURENCE GRAFF has an excellent pedigree and could be up to making a winning start for a yard that won this race in 2018.
18:52 – Pol Roger
Redcar winner Vince Le Prince could easily have a lot more to offer but preference is for POL ROGER, who made a promising debut when coming from the rear for second in the other division of that Redcar novice. Venetian ties in closely with the selection and also still has potential.
19:27 – Gold Aura
This could be an excellent opportunity for GOLD AURA to get off the mark. She was a promising third of 15 on last month’s debut at Newbury and this race should take a lot less winning. Eve Johnson Houghton is having a good year with her 2yos and the stable’s newcomer Lunarscape is feared most, ahead of Doncaster third Oscar’s Sister.

The first-time headgear could be just what BUNGLEY needs to get her nose in front, having finished second on three of her five starts this season. Monica won in good style in a novice at Carlisle last time out and could be the chief threat on her handicap debut. Boasted is another possible.
20:37 – Atacama Desert
After going close in a big field over C&D in May, things didn’t work out for ATACAMA DESERT at Chester last time out in June, and he’s taken to post a first win with trainer Kevin Frost’s stable in flying form. C&D winner Colinton could be a big danger, however, along with the hat-trick-seeking Molinari.
