Marbuzet should go well after last week’s breakthrough success, while Overstate, Cavendish and Wendell’s Lass all have something to recommend them. RAMAMARAS BOY is progressing steadily at a modest level and this extra yardage could see him get off the mark.
19:15 – Sydney Bay (nap)
Poet’s Dawn figures prominently in calculations after a good run at Musselburgh last week, while Safran and Deputy have the ability to play a big part if running near their best. The most interesting contender is SYDNEY BAY (nap), however, with Ann Duffield’s unexposed 3yo having shaped with some considerable promise on his reappearance. This trip should be well within range on pedigree and he looks ahead of his mark.

Tim Easterby saddles a couple of interesting candidates in Fishable and MYRISTICA and the latter is fancied to complete a hat-trick. Menai Bridge bumped into one at Lingfield last time and can go well, while Spirit Catcher may prove best of the 3yo contingent.
20:15 – Glam De Vega
Wilkins, Kaatibb and GLAM DE VEGA have all shown enough to think a race like this was within their grasp and the selection, who is the least-exposed of the three, can make a winning return. Desert Glory is bred to be useful and he needs a market check.

Another chance is given to BICEP, who was behind a couple of these rivals at Doncaster last month but holds very strong claims on his two solid efforts in May. The second of those good runs came over C&D and the return to this track may prove ideal. Golden Duke (second choice) and Circoloco are respected in this rematch with the selection, while Matty Too enters calculations back down in grade.
