17:15 – The Ridler

Redcar seller winner Lily In The Jungle shouldn’t be taken lightly on her first run for Philip Kirby and both Favourite Queen and Havana Angel can be expected to build on their respective debuts and have a say. Richard Fahey’s THE RIDLER shaped well when a C&D fourth on his first run and can take a sizeable step forward and open his account.

17:45 – Roach Power (NAP)

Ben Haslam’s Origintrail merits serious consideration on the form of her reappearance Pontefract second and Lingfield runner-up Mick McHugh is also firmly in the mix on his turf bow if fully tuned up after a lay-off. However, ROACH POWER (nap) appeals as the sort to make up into a useful colt this term and is taken to make a winning return for Tim Easterby.

18:15 – Mews House

After joining Grant Tuer last summer MEWS HOUSE was quick to bag two victories and he can build on his reappearance promise and go in again at the chief expense of C&D scorer Dapper Man, who also signalled he’s ready to strike once more when third at Pontefract. Course winner Gullane One is weighted to go well if fully tuned up for his seasonal return.

18:45 – Twilight Secret

A tight-knit sprint in which preference is for TWILIGHT SECRET, who made a promising start for Grant Tuer when third at Musselburgh and can be expected to build on it with still few miles on the clock. Manigordo has ground conditions to suit and is weighted to go well so is next on the list, ahead of his stablemate and returning Flying Pursuit who has gone in here before after an absence.

19:15 – Hellenista

Plenty are in with a shout. Evaluation impressed in making a winning start for Keith Dalgleish at Wetherby and seems sure to have a big say under a 5lb penalty, while in-form duo Rukwa and Spantik both need considering too. Course winner HELLENISTA also made an encouraging return when fifth at Thirsk and this daughter of Nathaniel is worth siding with now she gets her first try over 2m.

19:45 – All Things Bright

In-form duo Wots The Wifi Code and Intercessor both bring very solid credentials to the table, while Bit Of A Quirke commands plenty of respect if, as expected, building on his encouraging Beverley reappearance fourth. ALL THINGS BRIGHT thrived under the tutelage of Tristan Davidson last back-end, though, and she is weighted to complete a hat-trick on her seasonal return.

20:15 – Letter Of The Law

No surprise were Autumn Festival able to confirm recent Beverley superiority over three re-opposing rivals granted the best draw of any of them. In setting a decent pace, however, he may unwittingly tee things up for the likely more patiently ridden LETTER OF THE LAW, 3lb well in following a career-best effort on last week’s turf debut at Bath. Sweet Mist could step up further tried over 1m for the first time.
