WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

13:15 – Ben Buie

Those towards the top of the weights look the ones worth focusing on, with BEN BUIE selected to make a winning reappearance after four months off the track. His form really took off after the visor was fitted, and with Martin Keighley’s stable still among the winners, he’s expected to be bang there. Dunbar finally tasted success at Ffos Las last month so he heads up the dangers now up and running, with Boagrius also fancied to feature.

13:50 – Alberic

ALBERIC has won two of his last three outings and proved he can compete from this sort of mark at Market Rasen last time, so is fancied to take the beating. Gallow Ford is of significant interest on his chasing debut, whilst Getmegold should also be in the mix if able to bounce back.

14:23 – Paricolor

PARICOLOR produced his best effort over fences last time and he remains open to improvement after only three chase starts so far. The six-year-old also has the potential to rate higher based on his form over hurdles, so he can record his first victory over the bigger obstacles. Onchan can bounce back from last time to give the selection most to think about, with Pennyforapound completing the shortlist.

15:03 – Great Heart’Jac

A number of interesting contenders but GREAT HEART’JAC was highly tried in the Mersey Novices’ Hurdle last month and now makes his handicap debut. The seven-year-old may have found it tough in the Aintree Grade 1, but he looks to be on a workable opening mark and can open his account. Amongst the dangers are the formerly smart Flat performer Ladykiller and the steadily-progressive Maskia.

15:33 – Peerless Beauty

PEERLESS BEAUTY was unlucky to bump into the unbeaten Lady Adare at Taunton on her debut and can make the most of calmer waters here after being highly tried at Cheltenham last time. Call The Fairies is exposed but her form ranks highly in this mares’ maiden hurdle, whilst Missfit remains with room to improve further, especially if jumping with more accuracy.

16:05 – Honor Grey

A competitive affair that can go to top weight HONOR GREY, who looks a staying hurdler on the upgrade after wins at Ffos Las and Southwell. The bulk of the field can have some sort of case made for them, with Colonel Manderson, Del Duque and Sidewaysinmilan the most credible dangers.

16:40 – Olympic Honour

An open-looking contest with preference for OLYMPIC HONOUR, who could step up on his recent run and is now 1 lb below his last winning mark. The six-year-old had been off for six months prior to his Chepstow outing last month so could make more of an impact this time. Rootless Tree is another who is well handicapped on old form, while Simply Red remains unexposed as she makes her first start for Donald McCain.
