13:00 – Burning Victory
Willie Mullins has dominated this race in recent years, winning it five times in a row prior to last year’s abandonment. He provides three of the six, with BURNING VICTORY the pick on official figures and the choice of Paul Townend. Queens Brook will need a career-best to pose a threat, but the manner of her Fairyhouse victory in November was encouraging. Gauloise and Dysart Diamond need to provide reassurance after a below-par display last time.

13:35 – Nonbinding
Not an easy race to assess but Ferny Hollow’s half-brother NON BINDING may be good enough to make a winning start over hurdles. Walnut Beach, whose placed form on the Flat was at a modest level, has taken well to hurdling and is a danger judged on his second to an Elliott-trained runner at Thurles in November. The form of the maiden point won by Reserve Judgement reads well. The Mullins runner Haxo won on the third of four 1m4f outings in France, his other runs were poor.
14:05 – Ramillies
There should be plenty of improvement to come from RAMILLIES following his third behind a short-priced stablemate at Naas. The Waltzer is the obvious danger, and few of the others make any appeal, with the exception of bumper winner Mr Saxobeat and Broken Bond who ran well up to the point of his last-fence fall in a maiden point last month.
14:40 – Wall Of Fame
With the benefit of his excellent rider’s 5lb claim, WALL OF FAME can defy an 8lb rise for his Fairyhouse win last time, though he will have to race more professionally today. His stablemate Motown Maggie is a danger, as are Young Dev and Robyndeglory.

15:15 – Angels Dawn
Having faced much tougher tasks than this lately and not been disgraced, it will be disappointing if ANGELS DAWN (nap) doesn’t get the job done today. Eyre Square looks to be her biggest danger, while Happy D’Ex, Lady Rita and Emily Roebling should be on the premises also.
15:50 – Aqua Court
Having run so well on handicap debut at Gowran last time over 2m, AQUA COURT has the winning of this modest race if she stays the extra 4f, which is likely on pedigree. Her biggest danger could be Robindevidastar, who was running a big race when coming down at Gowran on the same day. Crack On Corrie has to bounce back from a poor run, while Fox Le Bel has the ability to win but his attitude is questionable.
16:25 – Springfield Lodge
Having battled on to get off the mark over hurdles last time at 2m, SPRINGFIELD LODGE could go in again over a trip she stays well, despite a 6lb rise. Ruhm Und Ehre is a danger down in trip after a good run over 3m here last time, while Junior Bee has claims stepping up in trip. Indie Belle, Mise Raftaire, Happy Dreams and Sweet Will have chances.
17:00 – Imagine
The market will provide clues, but it seems safe to assume that IMAGINE will be popular on account of the trainer/rider combination. Worth A Look comes from a strong nursery and there may be significance in his appearance here rather than in a point-to-point. The dam of Hurricane Muse has produced six winners, but stamina is not conspicuous in the pedigree.
