There might not be any fans in attendance at the Glorious Goodwood Festival – well, until Saturday – but the racing should still be top-notch, with the Goodwood Cup (3.15pm) the highlight on Tuesday.
We’ve got a thrilling race ahead of us, with Santiago and Stradivarius set to go head-to-head in what should be a blistering contest.
Santiago, of course, won the Queen’s Vase and the Irish Derby earlier in the year, while Stradivarius – who will have to give considerable weight away – had a great showing at Ascot and won his third straight Ascot Gold Cup.
With that in mind, we’ve asked Paddy, Ruby Walsh and Matt Chapman to deliver their verdicts on the big race to Paddy’s Rewards Club members, and reveal who they fancy to come out on top on the opening day of the festival.
