Aintree Grand National 2024 going report, weather forecast and course conditions

The mud will be flying!

Aintree

England has been drenched by record rainfall so Aintree could resemble a bit of a bog for the Grand National.

The word ‘testing’ is probably going to be bandied about over the coming days in the build up to the world’s greatest steeplechase and it will, no doubt, be worth trying to identify the mud larks in the 34-runner field.

The Grand National is not the only show in town, however, as 20 more cracking contests including the Grade 1 Aintree Bowl will take place at the Merseyside racecourse between Thursday, April 11 and Saturday, April 13.

Grand National odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, the latest going report and weather forecast for Aintree is below.
