19:00 (Premier Sports 2) Maritimo v FC Porto: Both Teams To Score – No

Porto put in an excellent display against Juventus in the Champions League last week, and they can be counted upon to put struggling Maritimo to the sword on Monday night. The hosts have been on a dreadful run of form, which has seen them plummet to the foot of the Primeira Liga table.

Maritimo are winless in their last six games and the last thing they needed was to be facing a Porto team that is coming off a superb victory over Juventus. Porto have beaten Maritimo in five of their last seven meetings and have kept a clean sheet in four of those games, expect those trends to continue this Monday with Porto winning to nil.

19:45 (Premier Sports 1) Juventus v Crotone: Both Teams To Score – No

Juventus find themselves outside of the top four currently and they will be desperate to put pressure on the teams above them. That means a visit from the basement team Crotone should be to the liking of Juve boss Andrea Pirlo. The Old Lady are riding an eight-match unbeaten run at home in 2021 and have kept a clean sheet in their last five home games.

Their opponents are last in the league and have scored the second fewest away goals in Serie A all season. They have lost seven of their last eight games and are heading swiftly towards Serie B. Juventus will be buoyed by Federico Chiesa’s late goal out in Porto, and I expect them to comfortably handle Crotone.

20:00 (Sky Sports Main Event) Brighton v Crystal Palace: Both Teams To Score – No

The Monday night game in the Premier League features two teams going in opposite directions. Brighton have been in excellent form lately and Graham Potter’s side have eased their relegation worries by going on a six-game undefeated run in the league. That streak has included excellent victories over Leeds, Liverpool and Spurs – but, Brighton have only scored four goals in those six games.

Their opponents, Crystal Palace, have been struggling since they lost their star man Wilfried Zaha to a hamstring injury. The Eagles haven’t scored in their last two games and are coming off a terrible 3-0 home defeat to Burnley. All the signs point to this being a low-scoring, cagey encounter and ticking no in the Both Teams To Score box looks the obvious choice.

20:00 (LaLigaTV) Osasuna v Sevilla: Both Teams To Score – No

The big game in La Liga sees the rampant Sevilla travel to the Estadio El Sadar to take on in-form Osasuna. Seville have been in outstanding form lately, a run that has seen Julen Lopetegui’s men jump into the top four in Spain. They have won five league games on the spin and they are especially impressive away from home, only conceding in one game out of their last five away fixtures. That mean defence has been the cornerstone of Sevilla’s climb up the league table.

Osasuna have hit a bit of form lately. Victories over Levante and Eibar have eased Jagoba Arrasate’s side away from the relegation zone, and they will prove tough opposition for Sevilla. Sevilla won the corresponding game 1-0 back in November and another low-scoring encounter looks likely here.

Monday football tips summary:

19:45 Juventus v Crotone: Both Teams To Score – No
20:00 Brighton v Crystal Palace: Both Teams To Score – No
