Thommo:

The mention of Liverpool v AC Milan brings back so many good memories! However, this won’t be an easy one for Liverpool. AC Milan have had a resurgence after being on the outside looking in for a while. They’re top of Serie A ahead of their rivals Inter Milan.

Liverpool are top of the Champions League group after winning all of their first five games. AC Milan, Porto and Atletico Madrid are all fighting to qualify for the knockout stages.

AC Milan need to win on Tuesday night so they’ll be going for it from the off. Because of that, I’m going to back the Draw. Liverpool could play a weakened side, which might play into AC Milan’s favour. However, Liverpool should still have enough to get a draw.

Emmet:

I don’t see Jurgen Klopp putting the kids out. I feel he’ll play a mix of youngsters and a couple of experienced players. It could be a similar team to the one we saw against Porto.

I fancy Mohamed Salah to start too. These are the types of games he’s desperate to play in and it also keeps him in the hunt for the Champions League Golden Boot.

With AC Milan needing to win, if it’s 0-0 after 60 minutes, they will need to push forward. That will leave space for Liverpool on the counter attack. AC Milan have a couple of injuries too so I’m backing Liverpool to Win.
