Sunday sees the conclusion of this season’s Serie A, there’s still the final relegation place to be decided and plenty of pride to play for. Let’s have a look for some value in the markets.
17.00 Spal vs Fiorentina: Fiorentina -1
The early match sees already-relegated Spal at home to Fiorentina. Spal have been nothing short of disastrous this season, winning just five times over their 37 matches. At home they won only two of their 18, drawing four and: losing 12. Of their 11 matches since the restart they’ve lost all but two and those were draws.
Fiorentina have won four of their 11, drawing four and losing three. Over their five most recent matches they’ve won three, drawing one and losing one. The market is definitely siding with the away side here but the -1 Handicap looks like the best option for some decent odds. Spal have lost by two goals or more in three out of five recent home matches and last time visiting here Fiorentina were 1-4 winners. We’re backing them to dispatch Spal pretty easily here.
19.45 Bologna vs Torino: Bologna to Win
Both sides come into this match in pretty bad form, Bologna have won just one of their five most recent matches, drawing one and losing three. Torino have won one, drawn two and lost two. There’s not much to play for here, other than Bologna can leap from 12th to 9th in the table should other results go their way. Torino can move up two places to 14th with a win.
We’re going with the home side here, Torino’s away record is terrible, they’ve won just four away matches, drawing two and losing 12 and have lost four of their last five on the road.
19:45 Genoa vs Verona: Genoa to Win
To ensure their Serie A survival Genoa are going to have to try and take all three points here. They’re currently one point above Lecce who play Parma at the same time. They’re not in the best of form though, they’ve won two and lost three of their five most recent matches. Their home form is the same.
Verona have done better than expected this season and will be very happy with their Top 10 finish. They’ve also not been in great form though, winning one, drawing two and losing two of their five most recent matches. Their away form is even worse, drawing three and losing two of their five most previous matches.
The home side have won four out of four recent meetings here between these teams so we’re giving Genoa the nod here.

19.45 Lecce vs Parma: 1-1 Anytime Correct Score
A draw will not be enough for Lecce here, a draw would see them level on points with Genoa above them but with an inferior goal difference they’d be banished to Serie B. They have to win here and hope Verona at least hold Genoa to a draw.
Both teams aren’t in good form though, both have won two and lost three of their five most recent matches. They have the same record in their respective home/away matches.
We’ve been banging on about Parma’s goalscoring form over the last few weeks and they rarely go a game without scoring and for all of Lecce’s bad aspects they’re also not goal shy. The odds on BTTS are pretty slim so instead we’re going with the 1-1 score in the Anytime Correct Score market.
19:45 Sassuolo vs Udinese: Sassuolo Over 1.5 Goals
Both teams come into this match not exactly in the best of form, Sassuolo have won one, drawn two and lost two of their five most recent matches, Udinese have won two, drawn one and lost one. At home Sassuolo have won two, drawn two and lost one. Over 2.5 goals occurred in all of those and Over 3.5 landed in four of them.
Udinese have won three and lost two of their five most previous away matches. In five out of six recent home matches Sassuolo have scored at least two goals so we’re backing that trend to continue here.
