BoJo installed as next cabinet minister to leave after repeating Brexit claim

Oh dear, Boris, what have you gone and said now?

After flaxen-haired politico-bumbler Boris Johnson repeated his claim that £350million a week could be freed up by Brexit, we’ve decided to install him as the clear favourite to be the next cabinet minister to leave their post.

We now make him 11/4 to leave his role as Foreign Secretary before any other cabinet member departs, with PM Theresa May next in the betting (5/1).

Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond (7/1), Party Chairman Sir Patrick McLoughlin (10/1), and Education Secretary Justine Greening (11/1) are swift on the deadly duo’s heels.

We also think Johnson is most likely to leave his current position in 2018 (6/4) – though whether that’s a forced exit or a step up to the top job isn’t referenced.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “The pressure is mounting to force Boris Johnson out – something he’ll know plenty about having spearheaded the UK’s Brexit campaign.

“I’m not sure he’ll be too worried about being our favourite to leave his cabinet position next – after all, he clearly has eyes on a different job, anyway.”
