13:33 – Hourvari
14:05 – Getbazoutofhere
14:40 – Shighness
15:15 – Haas Boy
15:50 – Somewhat Cloudy
16:25 – Boys Of Wexford
13:33 – Hourvari
Listed bumper winner Bonttay probably has improvement to come over hurdles and is not opposed lightly but it’s hard to get away from HOURVARI, who produced a very good performance when winning by a wide margin at Lingfield three weeks ago.
14:05 – Getbazoutofhere
Her reappearance run in January was underwhelming but GETBAZOUTOFHERE started off in handicaps with two good runs towards the end of last season and could be hard to beat off today’s mark if able to recapture that form. She gets the vote ahead of the other mare Belle Na Bann, who has performed well on all three starts for her current stable.
14:40 – Shighness
There is no strong temptation to oppose improving mare SHIGHNESS (nap), who beat a next-time-out winner by 4l here last month and is now bidding for her third C&D win of the season. Here Comes McCoy ran well behind the selection last time and is entitled to have benefited from that outing. Universal Folly also ran well last time and is next on the list.

15:15 – Haas Boy
Halondo (second choice) has been knocking on the door in novice company and ought to be very competitive again on today’s handicap debut, while Happy And Fine has won twice in cheekpieces this season and is not yet fully exposed. However, another chance can be given to HAAS BOY, who didn’t run badly in what has turned out to be a competitive race at Chepstow last month and was very unlucky not to open his account off a 1lb lower mark at Ludlow in December.
15:50 – Somewhat Cloudy
This could be a good opportunity for SOMEWHAT CLOUDY, who has posted three good efforts over hurdles this season and now makes her chasing debut from a workable mark. Dogem By Design stayed on well for second on good ground at Catterick recently and can pose the main threat if today’s forecast slower surface also suits.
16:25 – Boys Of Wexford
Pileup ran well behind a handicap blot over hurdles last month and looks interesting on today’s chasing debut but there should still be more to come from Henry Oliver’s 6yo BOYS OF WEXFORD, who made a bright start to his chasing career towards the end of last year. Brulure Noire and Mister Bells also make some appeal.
