Gold Des Bois has a chance here. He jumped well at Cheltenham last time out and he might have come on from that run. The flatter track should suit him.

I like Brave Seasca here. He absolutely bolted up at Aintree and he can defy the penalty and win off 155. I think he’s a graded horse still running in handicaps. The trip suits him too.

14:30 Cheltenham – First Street

I’m with First Street for Nicky Henderson. He won at Newbury last time out and the step up in trip should really suit him. He’ll be able to settle better.

14:45 Musselburgh – Homme Public

Homme Public has gone up in the weights recently but he could be the one to beat. He won at Wetherby in November and followed that up by finishing third at Sandown behind Love Envoi.
