Tipperary Sunset’s career hasn’t panned out as may have been expected after his 2yo promise but he has shown some aptitude for hurdling and has claims on this chase debut. Joviale Tiepy hasn’t completed in either run since her hurdle win at Argentan in October but James Reveley is back on today and she has a fair level of ability. VISION DU RHEU looks the one to beat despite conceding chunks of weight all round though. He was still in contention when falling two out in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil last month and this looks much less demanding.

The return of James Reveley is a positive for HIP HOP CONTI, who won well here in February, and there are reasons to believe that he can return in similar form. Making a case for the selection brings Thatsmyseat into the equation, while Ever Forget Me and the 2020 winner Netcam also come into it.

Our Dream and Klitchko De Belair are respected and so too Ultra Marino who has run well on the Flat and who should make a hurdler. However, MILORD DU MESNIL posted a respectable RPR despite finishing only seventh in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil, where he only weakened out of it late on.

Harmonie D’Ainay will find this easier than last time and she is respected, while Hyjie won twice over fences here last winter and isn’t ruled out after a summer break. BOUGIE HAS has to put a fall at Fontainebleau behind her but she had been going the right way beforehand and gets the tentative vote.

All eyes will be on Grade 1 hurdle winner KYROV, who can outclass this field if he jumps soundly on today’s chasing debut. Unexposed filly Indulgente has made a very promising start to her career over hurdles and may provide most resistance. A L’Abord’Az and Hayoa have each-way claims.

Iris Colombe beat a pretty good yardstick when winning her bumper last month and ought to play a significant role on today’s hurdling debut but Fontainebleau third ILLIKO DES PLANS sets a fair standard and looks the one to beat. Class-dropper Izino D’Airy didn’t fire last time but is of interest if judged on his fifth at Auteuil in October.
