OLD PAINLESS is a winning Irish pointer who has shown promise on all his three runs over hurdles, third of six in 2m4f Market Rasen novice 19 days ago. He’s not without interest now sent chasing.
15:55 Southwell – Lord Paramount (The Brigadier)
LORD PARAMOUNT didn’t have to match his 6f form to win a 7f novice at Wolverhampton two weeks ago. Unexposed at the trip and certainly not overburdened for this handicap debut. He was forecast to be a very warm favourite on Saturday’s Chelmsford card when that fell foul of the weather.
17:00 Southwell – Solar Prophet (Moorestyle)
SOLAR PROPHET never went close to finishing placed for Harry Dunlop, latterly when among the favourites for a turf seller. Offered more for his new yard over C&D four days ago, though, in a first-time tongue-tie having been gelded, and that gave something to build on.
17:45 Newcastle – Ramon Di Loria (Postdata)
RAMON DI LORIA was a C&D scorer in September but he’s been below that form on all his three runs since, beating only one over 6f here 18 days ago.
