A shock 80-1 winner on his C&D debut last month, OTTOMAN PRINCE will need to improve if he’s to defy a penalty, with third-placed Statu Of Liberty 7lb better off now, but that’s entirely possible. Silky Smooth should do better than on his debut, when inclined to pull hard, while Gallimimus looks the most interesting newcomer.
17:30 – Jumbeau
Class-dropper JUMBEAU has the best form claims on her second start back from a layoff. Calluna (second choice) and Girl Magic are the closest threats on the figures, while a few others may be capable of improvement, notably Soaring Eagle.
18:00 – Georgia Madeleine 11/2
Secretary and Mam’Zelle Dupont are worth a look in the market but otherwise it’s hard to veer too far from the obvious, with GEORGIA MADELEINE narrowly preferred to Bedazzling.
18:30 – Doctor Mozart
In-form maiden DOCTOR MOZART is taken to get off the mark back down in class. Wedgewood (second choice) and Mother India are chief rivals on nursery form, while Furnicoe looks the pick of the handicap newcomers.
19:00 – Breezyandbright
A wide draw isn’t ideal for front-runner Thank The Lord, so a chance is taken on BREEZYANDBRIGHT, who’s entitled to have come on for his recent C&D return from a break and is on his last winning mark.

Yet to run poorly after eight starts on the AW, CHICHESTER (NAP) showed much more again on the switch from turf recently, when a slow break and steady early pace on the step back down to 1m wouldn’t have worked in his favour. Fantastic Fox, who’s had a light season and is half-brother to several Polytrack winners, is an obvious danger, while United Front’s record round here has to bring him into the equation.
20:00 – Vaynor
On the back of an emphatic win and with the possibility of further improvement, VAYNOR holds particularly strong claims. Fellow 3yo Heatherdown Hero, another last-time-out scorer who may have more to offer, is second choice ahead of Iconique who ran well at this course last month. A few others are hard to dismiss, including closely matched rivals Brasca and Duty Of Care.
20:30 – Zim Baby
Quite a tight race as several runners tie in with each other on recent form. Front-runners Miss Nay Never and So Smart are respected in terms of ability but they could set this up for others. ZIM BABY is the suggested first choice, ahead of Show Me Show Me who was one place behind that rival in the Leicester race won by So Smart. The Defiant, the runner-up to Miss Nay Never here last time, also figures highly in calculations.
