It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
14:30 Redcar – Asmund (The Sun)
An interesting race in which the draw could play a big part. Although low numbers (far side) have been favoured, the ground there is more poached so it could pay to side with recent C&D winner ASMUND who is likely to be racing on the freshest ground from his high draw. The Michael Dods pair of Deputy and Queen’s Sargent are two others with chances.
14:55 Southwell – Rose Bandit (Daily Mail)
This looks trappy. Brazen Akoya could go well down in grade especially if getting her own way in front, while September’s C&D winner Primo (second choice) has to be respected back here. Toplight has become well handicapped and could go well, but a chance is taken with ROSE BANDIT who has also dropped to a favourable mark and was by no means disgraced in two starts back on Tapeta last month. This is a drop in grade for her. Mokaman and Youllovemewheniwin are interesting outsiders.

15:15 Warwick – Boughtbeforelunch (Racing Post)
Favori De Sivola (second choice) and Reilly should both run well but BOUGHTBEFORELUNCH looks to have as good a chance as any on a course he runs well. Fairlawn Flyer’s claims will be boosted if the ground is testing, while these fences will test the jumping technique of Guetapan Collonges.
18:45 Newcastle – Hart Fell (Telegraph)
Recent course winners Bobby Joe Leg, Catherine Chroi (second choice) and Hardy all come into the reckoning but HART FELL might be the answer. He has run very well in both starts since a wind operation and although Hardy collared him late on last time, he had been softened up by a duel with the eventual third through the final furlong. The placings may be reversed today.
