Manwhothinkshecan and Uffington bring placed nursery form into the race but neither is entirely convincing and this may fall to one of the handicap newcomers. Pending Appeal, Forest Demon and Arlecchino’s Star all bring potential but UNAGI has improved from race to race and she could be the answer now upped to 7f for the first time.

17:40 – Quantum Light
This looks comfortably the stronger of the two divisions. There are some interesting newcomers on show, notably Leonine and Regal Masque, while Creative Style could leave May’s debut effort well behind her at a track where Charlie Appleby’s 2yo regularly excel. However, QUANTUM LIGHT‘s third at Ascot 19 days ago was full of promise and she can put that experience to good use.
18:15 – Orginal Thinker
The standard set by those with experience isn’t daunting so money for one of the newcomers, notably Creatively, would look significant. Heavenly Breath sets the standard but ORIGINAL THINKER did a lot wrong on her Doncaster debut and she could take a marked step forward.
18:50 – Fashion Love
Returning to 7f may see True Horizon produce something more in keeping with her Irish form but her stable debut was so disappointing, even allowing for an inadequate trip, that it may be prudent to look elsehere. FASHION LOVE is open to further progress and she can build on last month’s Lingfield second.

19:25 – Huddleton Mac
Two of the three 3yo representatives were successful last time out but Conflict and Damaar have more on their plate today. Al Shibli may yet deliver on his early promise and he is of some interest on his AW debut, while Magnificence, Tintoretto and the John Butler-trained pair Ivasecret and Brains also have something to recommend them. HUDDLETON MAC hasn’t been seen for 280 days but he ran a cracker over C&D on that occasion and he could be worth chancing on his belated return.
20:00 – Tequilamockingbird
Limited Edition, Charlie Arthur and Mille Miglia may prove best of the older horses but there are some interesting 3yos on show. Spyfall is high on the list now hooded and upped in trip but TEQUILAMOCKINGBIRD should appreciate stepping back up in distance and she can make it 2-2 on Polytrack.
20:30 – Myriad (nap)
Polytrack winner MYRIAD (nap) was a good second at Epsom and perhaps the first-time cheekpieces didn’t suit when he flopped last time out. They are removed today and he’s selected to bounce back with a win. Thunder Flash is on a hat-trick and is an obvious threat, while Toybox won at Brighton two starts ago and could also be involved.
