Wave Machine is the obvious starting point with a good third on debut under her belt, but it was probably not the strongest maiden ever staged, and with the Joseph O’Brien/Declan McDonogh combo in hot form, a chance is taken on WARTIME WARRIOR going in first time of asking. Meggy Moo and Quiz Test should also have something to say. It will be interesting to see how Queen Maedbh fares on her official debut after showing ability in a recent barrier trial.

Though she has been off since disappointing in a Gowran maiden, AMANIRENAS doesn’t look harshly treated on her earlier form and could get off the mark. Marsa is back to her last winning mark, so has possibilities, while Corporal Violette is better than she showed last time.
18:15 Ampeson
Having not had a hard race when winning well over 6f at Fairyhouse four days ago, AMPESON could well follow up under a 7lb penalty with this trip suiting even better. Fellow last-time scorer Craft Irish is a serious player back up to this trip too. Bonnyrigg shouldn’t be far away.
18:50 Zouperior
The market should be a pointer here. Having won a Dundalk barrier trial recently, ZOUPERIOR could be ready to win on Rules debut and is the suggestion. Caroline Street was runner-up in a different barrier trial and can run well, while Library has the pedigree to be anything, so is respected.
19:20 Trevaunance (NAP)
Though she has a bit to find on ratings, TREVAUNANCE (nap) is lightly-raced and can bridge that gap, with the form of her Limerick win last time boosted since. Georgeville and Boundless Ocean can give her most to do.

Though he has been gelded since his excellent Cork second in a much deeper maiden than this, it will be a major disappointment if POINT GELLIBRAND can’t score today.
20:20 S’All Good Man
Having just failed at Limerick a week ago, S’ALL GOOD MAN can make amends today off the same mark. Rock Of Candy has more to do under a 7lb penalty than when winning at Killarney three days ago but is a big player. Duleek Street and Gonetomillgrove are considered.
