Twisted Dreams, who finished behind him that day, may give him more to do back at 7 furlongs, while Saisons D’Or and Harry Love are others for the shortlist.

Although unable to justify favouritism on his Doncaster debut, FRANTASTIC still showed plenty of ability and it’s hard to imagine this beautifully bred colt fluffing his lines against this opposition. Cabinet Maker should have learnt something from his first outing and is taken to chase the selection home.

18:30 Thunder Power

Not a strong novice and a golden opportunity for THUNDER POWER to make it third-time lucky, probably en route to handicaps. His latest Kempton effort is entitled to be upgraded. Dropping back to 7 furlongs might be a good thing for Moqadama and she’s second choice, with Willard Creek and Jack Daniel next in line.

19:00 Global Mirage

The suggestion is GLOBAL MIRAGE, who’s stable is going well. Without a troubled start, she would have been seriously involved on her nursery debut at Kempton. Second choice Say Grace was a solid second in her first handicap and may appreciate this stiffer track. Doomsday, Kissing and Honest Lawyer also warrant a mention.

19:30 Pacino

With a clearer run Debated might have made a successful all-weather debut here 10 days ago and he would have every chance if backing up that effort, but the vote goes to PACINO who is well treated on his Tapeta form from a year ago and drops into a 0-55 for the first time. Handicap newcomers Charlesishere and Pixie Carter are others to keep an eye on.

20:00 Bawaader

Despite a record of 0-22, Must Be An Angel is still near the top of the list following her narrow defeat over course and distance 10 days ago. Power Player, who wasn’t far behind her then, also has claims but preference is for BAWAADER. He who has run well here before and only just lost out at Hamilton in his latest outing.

This is very open. ANOTHER ANGEL has returned from wind surgery in flying form, and he always commands respect here. Similar comment applies to Buniann and he’s next best after some decent runs on grass in recent weeks. Buick is aboard Mehmo, who also has a big run in him.
