Horse Racing tips: The Racing Post’s best bets at La Teste De Buch on Wednesday

10.25am – Adept @ 8/1

ADEPT catches the eye amongst this field of debutants. Sired by champion Dubawi and out of Group 1-winning mare Qualify, he is likely to make an impact. Attendante was an expensive purchase as a yearling at Arqana. Connections will be anticipating a big performance. Moisson Du Ciel, one of two runners from Rouget yard, is out of a Group 3-winning dam and a bold bid is anticipated. Stamina holds each-way claims.

11.25am – Alpengeist @ 9/2

ALPENGEIST was only beaten around half a length into fourth on debut at Chantilly and is open to significant improvement. He is capable of breaking his maiden and has a leading chance. Exclusive Baio was purchased at Arqana as a yearling and is an interesting newcomer from the J-C Rouget stable. Arrow Chop has progressed with each start, was narrowly defeated at Toulouse in early March and may get involved. Brouillard is out of a Listed-winning dam and makes his debut.

11.55am – Thread of Silver @ 9/2

THREAD OF SILVER is an interesting contender. She produced some fair efforts in the UK during her juvenile campaign and makes her first start for Henri-Alex Pantall. Khara wasn’t beaten far into fifth at Cagnes Sur Mer on debut and is expected to improve for the run. Disincanto can be relied upon to produce a consistent performance while Red Berries showed significant improvement on her seasonal reappearance and has a place chance.

1.07pm – Serkiyna @ 11/4

SERKIYNA continues to improve with every start. Last seen scoring by 0.5L at Cagnes Sur Mer in February, another bold bid is anticipated. Designed Survivor is a consistent performer who has only finished out of the frame once from six starts and warrants respect. Tamahere was a little disappointing in listed company last time but has never finished out of the placings over this distance. Oftenwork is a strong each-way contender.

1.42pm – Venatimi @ 11/1

VENANTIMI has top weight but finished in the first four on his last four outings and is reliable. This is an opportunity for him to land a breakthrough win. Sally Jane claimed a maiden success at Tarbes in October. She returned from a break with fourth at Bordeaux and is open to further improvement. Black Comedy is better than his recent form would suggest and was not beaten far into seventh at Longchamp latest. Wedream is chasing a double and must be considered.

2.52pm – Flaming Heart @ 4/1

FLAMING HEART is bidding to claim her first win after three consecutive placings. She was last seen finishing second in a large field at Fontainebleau in November and can go well fresh. Torancia returns after a seven-month break but his form last year reads well and he is interesting. Penny Yes has won over this distance and has the potential to go close. Wink Oliver carries top weight but could bounce back to winning ways.

3.27pm – Belobog @ 25/1

BELOBOG was not beaten far when he returned from an 18-month break to finish 15th at Chantilly. He is expected to improve significantly for the run and is interesting. Late Comer has done little wrong over past few outings and is respected as he bids to break through after a fourth at Chantilly. Ruster is a consistent performer, who was placed on his last three runs and rates well. Miss Astrid has been lightly raced over the last year and has the potential to progress.
