Horse Racing Tips: All aboard our 3 best bets for Tuesday including this 33/1 shot

Well, it would be a great start to the card if Captain Revelation came in or placed.

NAP

17:55 Southwell – Wasntexpectingthat @ 6/4

Wasntexpectingthat is a fast-improving sprinter who landed back-to-back victories at Newcastle at the back end of last year. He ran at least as well in defeat off 6 lb higher when second next time out, getting picked off late on having seemed sure to win entering the final furlong.

He quickly resumed winning ways nine days later, cruising clear to take the race with any amount in hand, and looking clearly a lot better than the grade in doing so. He is up a further 8 lb here, but that still looks to be a winning mark, and he is worth backing on his first run on fibresand.

Next Best

18:25 Southwell – Bond Angel @ 2/1

Bond Angel resumed winning ways over ten furlongs at Lingfield last month, with the emphasis on speed suiting her, having spent most of her career racing over shorter. She followed up that success over this course and distance earlier this month and is looking better than ever at present. She is likely to continue in good form, especially around here, where she has had so much success in the past 12 months, and holds leading claims in her bid to land the hat-trick.

Each-way

16:25 Southwell – Captain Revelation @ 33/1

Captain Revelation acts well on fibresand and runs to form more often than not around Southwell. He showed a bit to work with on his penultimate outing when sixth over hurdles at Uttoxeter, and looks potentially well treated now returned to the all-weather.

He made an interesting yard switch from Michael Mullineaux to Oliver Greenall earlier this month and makes a certain amount of appeal on his stable debut, provided he is ready to roll following a 16-month absence. He will be sporting cheekpieces for the first time in this code and may be worth a play at what is likely to be a double-figure price.
