Greyhound racing tips: 5 who’ll strive on Tuesday at Fort Myers

An evening card from the north American meeting kicks off at 6pm.

We jump to Race 2 Class B on the card at 18:16, with Trap 7 Ls Elena getting the vote here, had been running in better races, dropped back to class B last time out and seem to lead everywhere but the line last week when unfortunately yielding quiet badly when coming to the line, so if she can lead again this week she will stay much stronger and make all.

The fourth race on the card is the first of the Class A races due off at 18:48. A dog in this race that could certainly outrun his odds is Trap 4 Raider Huddle, he won last time out posting a very quick 30.16 coming from behind. That was in a class B so the selection faces a stiffer task today but, in another diving finish, this dog at a price should give you a run for your money.

The seventh race on the card due off at 19:36 is the second of our Class A race. This is a really good race. I tipped Trap 5 JDs Spellbound last week when he was denied by a length and a half but he could do the business this time. He was looking for four straight victories in a row and he led for most of the race before being passed close to the line, so I think showing his early toe again he could get back to winning ways.

The ninth race due off at 20:08 is the last of the Class B races. Wins are scarce in this race with the whole field – only 23 victories between them – with some yet to win at all. The best of the field could be running in the green and white stripes of Trap 7 XB Rectify. This dog has had 27 starts here and six victories to his name and was a good second last time out, and should run another solid race.

The final race we’re looking at is the final Class A race and its race 10 at 20:24, Trap 3 Fred MacMurray doesn’t know how to run a bad race. He is turning two years of age this month but has experience beyond his years. He has 30 lifetime starts and in 20 of those he has been in the first three, including 10 wins. He is the solid selection for this race – and of the meeting, as he is also the Nap selection.
