Blackpool v Sunderland – Sunderland to Win
We’ll get the ball rolling in The Championship where Blackpool and Sunderland meet for a 23rd v 4th clash. The Black Cats are going great guns since their promotion last year and have won four of their last six games. Blackpool haven’t won in eight and have lost five and drawn three over that time.
Blackpool’s home form will provide no solace for them. They’ve got the second-worse record in front of their own supporters while Sunderland are the second-best team on the road. This should be an open and shut Sunderland Win and we’re firmly in NAP territory here.
Oxford v Exeter – Over 2.5 Goals
Exeter have been enjoying a rollercoaster season since gaining promotion to League One last year and they’re 11th ahead of their trip to Oxford in 13th on Sunday. Both sides come into this game with the same record over the last five of one win, one loss and three draws in their last five.
These two have already met twice this term, once in the league and once in the FA Cup with Oxford scoring four goals in each and winning both. Exeter chipped in with three goals across their two defeats and, on the back of their thrilling 4-3 win over Bristol Rovers on Thursday evening and Oxford beating Charlton 3-1 Over 2.5 Goals feels like it should be nailed on once again.

Plymouth v MK Dons – Plymouth to Win & Over 1.5 Goals
We’ve another Westcountry side on the mind next and it’s the table-topping Plymouth at home to rock bottom MK Dons. Plymouth should win this at a canter and they’ve taken 33 points from 12 matches at Home Park this season.
Despite being 24th in the third tier, MK Dons are actually okay on the road and are comfortably midtable with 13 points from 11 matches in that regard. They should be swatted aside by the Pilgrims who have won three on the bounce, all by a single goal. We’ll back them to grab a couple here though and there’s a decent price available on Plymouth to Win & Over 1.5 Goals.
Grimsby v Stockport – Stockport to Win
We’ll finish off in League Two with a bit of a midtable barney as Stockport in 10th head to 16th-placed Grimsby. County were among the pre-season favourites to win the title which I thought was a bit far fetched and has proven to be so. They are hitting their stride now, though, and have won seven of their last nine in the league.
Grimsby have won one game over the same timeframe, losing six in the process. So, not only are Stockport in the better overall form but they’re really dismantling teams at the moment and have scored nine goals in their last three while shipping a grand total of zero at the other end. Stockport to Win is undoubtedly the play and it’s a really good price as well, all things considered.
