Heroes and Villains: Delight again for Salah punters while Rashford lovers left lacking

Mo Salah, Mo Salah, Mo Salah, running up the payouts.....

Mo Salah Liverpool

Liverpool managed to get themselves top of the league with a  4-1 drubbing (bit generous!) of Cardiff at Anfield on Saturday. And it wasn’t just Klopp and the Kop who were smiling at 4.48pm. Almost 900 happy punters walked away from that result chuffed as chips after Mo Salah netted first once again. Genuinely, who said ‘one season wonder’?? (Rolling eyes emoji).

The Egyptian King, seems to have found his shooting boots after they went missing there for a while but his neat little follow up finish on Saturday meant he’s come in twice in a row now for punters. I can sense this becoming a trend.

The conundrum that is Paul Pogba actually also chipped in (about time) for punters against Everton on Sunday. While he still managed to keep up his consistent record of giving away a goal a game, he did net first, giving over 500 punters a few quid in their pocket.

They were made to wait for it though, after he hogged the limelight for a good ten seconds with a 28 step prancing bonanza, before he actually struck his penalty – and missed it. Jammy bastard got the rebound!

Our biggest villain of the week was another Mourinho conundrum, Marcus Rashford. Not only did he manage to disappoint himself, the United fans, and Jose but he also left over 1,500 punters left wondering what the f*ck were they thinking!! In fairness, what is anyone doing backing him? He has one goal to his name this season and two shots on target. It’s your own fault!

Until next week folks…
