ICYMI: Manu Petit’s Reddit Ask Me Anything went down a storm

Recently, we asked Paddy Power ambassador Emmanuel Petit to put himself out there on Reddit for an Ask Me Anything with the general public.

Manu, ever generous, agreed to do so, fired up his laptop and settled in for an hour of random – and often bizarre – questioning from Redditors. The questions covered everything from fecal emergencies to Manchester United to the maintenance of long, lustrous hair.

Here’s the pick of the bunch.

One of the more interesting answers, despite it being a one-word response, was when Petit was asked who he considered his most difficult opponent:

There was little hesitation from the former Arsenal midfielder, who was quick to join the likes of Xavi and Zinedine Zidane in hailing the Ginger Ninja. At this stage, it’s pretty striking how many greats of the game hold up Scholes as one of the finest players they’ve known.

However, Petit reserved a slightly more damning indictment for another ex-United player, and his frequent France team-mate, Fabien Barthez.

Sounds more efficient than lazy, but hey!
