Chris Coleman 2/1 to breath fire into Crystal Palace after Wales adventure

Watch your back Roy Hodgson, because Selhurst Park is favourite to be the former Fulham manager’s next stop if he leaves the Dragons…

With rumours rampant that Chris Coleman is about to end his wonderful time with Wales, we’ve made Crystal Palace favourite to be his next port of call if he chooses to return to club management.

Despite last night’s failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup with defeat to Republic of Ireland, Coleman has enjoyed an extraordinarily successful time in charge of his country and even led the Welsh to a shock appearance in the semi-finals of Euro 2016 last summer.

However, many now feel the one-time Fulham manager has taken Wales as far as he can and rumours are swirling in the Valleys that he will step down from his position at the helm of the national side.

Even though former England boss Roy Hodgson – who beat Coleman’s Wales during the group stages of the last European Championships – has only been in charge at Selhurst Park since last month, the South London club remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League with no wins and zero goals to their name.

Yet, the Eagles are favourites to be the next managerial nest Coleman occupies at just 2/1 in the betting.

However, if he wanted to remain in Wales, relegation threatened Swansea could also be an option for Coleman at 3/1. While Everton’s well documented woes could make a Merseyside move possible at 7/2.

If he were to stay in international management, you can find Coleman at 33/1 to be Ireland boss next even after suffering at the hands Wales’ Celtic cousins last night or if he fancied a trip off the beaten track, there’s always the Faroe Islands at 66/1.
