Atalanta host Inter in the Serie A with the home side in danger of falling out of the Top 4 should they lose while Inter have AC Milan snapping at their heels in second place. Marseille take on Lille in France with both teams in robust form but kicking us off here we have Algeria taking on Equatorial Guinea in the African Cup of Nations.

7pm: Algeria vs Equatorial Guinea – Algeria to Win & Over 1.5 Goals

TV: Sky Sports Mix

Algeria fans won’t forget the name of Mohamed Kamara for quite a while. The Desert Warriors huffed and puffed but could not score against the Red Bull Salzburg shot stopper who had one of the games of his life and denied everything thrown at him. Seriously, check out the highlights if you haven’t seen his performance. Amazing stuff. Despite that 0-0 draw with Sierra Leone there’s no real fear of Algeria not qualifying, yet at least, they’re two points behind Ivory Coast and can still finish top with two wins.

Algeria have won two and drawn three of their last five, winning one on penalties and one in Extra Time, scoring at least two goals in four of those five games. Equatorial Guinea are in decent form, winning two, drawing two and losing one. Algeria’s scoring run should continue here but face a side enjoying a decent run and who have scored five over their last five. Algeria to Win and Over 1.5 goals has some decent value.

7.45pm: Marseille vs Lille – Both Teams to Score

TV: BT Sport ESPN

Marseille can get to within eight points of Ligue 1 leaders PSG should they take the three points here at home to Lille. The hosts have won four of their last five in all competitions, drawing the other one. Their home league form though is pretty mediocre where they’ve won one, drawn three and lost one. The visitors have won three and drawn two (losing one on penalties).

Their away Ligue 1 form has seen them winning two, drawing one and losing two over their last five, scoring eight and conceding eight. Marseille have scored 11 goals over their last five games and with Both Teams to Score landing in six of the last seven meetings here at the Stade Velodrome, and Lille scoring plenty of late too, we have to go with Both Teams To Score here.

7.45pm: Atalanta vs Inter – Inter Win & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1

Juventus are chasing down Atalanta in fifth and the home side need to get back to their best after a couple of dodgy results of late. Inter too have their city rivals Milan just a point behind them and obviously also need to get the three points here to stay ahead. The hosts have won two of their last five at home, drawing two and losing one, scoring 13 and conceding nine. BTTS and Over 2.5 goals both landing in four of those five games.

Inter have won nine and drawn one of their last 10 in the Serie A, of their last five they have won all five. Away from home they’ve won four of their last five on their travels, drawing the other one, scoring 13 and conceding just one with Overs landing in two of those games. Difficult not to see both scoring here with those records but Inter’s superior form and momentum is swaying us towards the Nerazzurri coming away with the three points. Inter to Win and Over 2.5 Goals is the best bet here.

8.30pm: Belenenses vs Porto – Porto to Win to Nil

Porto have been in mighty form of late, winning all seven of their most recent games in all competitions. Belenenses are rock bottom of the Primeira Liga and their days in the top flight look numbered at this stage. They’ve only won one of their last five in the league, losing all four of the others. At home things are slightly better with two wins and three losses, however, they’ve failed to score in three of those games, scoring a total of four and conceding an eye-watering 12.

The Dragoes have won all 10 of their most recent league games and are unbeaten over their last 10 on their league outings, winning eight and drawing two. Of their last five they’ve won all five, scoring 16 and conceding just three and keeping three clean sheets in the process. Porto to Win to Nil has to be the pick here with those records.
