Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson has been using his connections to bring you the best-possible value about. The Liverpool legend has been twisting Paddy’s arm to boost his Saturday treble this weekend. And you know what? It’s worked.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

This Saturday it’s Manchester United v Everton, Chelsea hosting Southampton and Arsenal’s trip to Brighton coming under the microscope. So, where’s Thommo’s money going for his Paddy Power News boosted treble on Saturday?

12.30pm: Manchester United v Everton

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

Manchester United have lost three of their last five in all competitions, they’ve lost three of the last six at home so things are not looking great for them. Having said that they’re unbeaten against Everton in seven at home.

Maybe they’ve got a little bit of a hoodoo over Everton, Cristiano Ronaldo’s scored five in five and there’s only Liverpool who’ve scored more than Manchester United. Everton have had their joint-best start with 13 points from six games. Why’s it their joint-best start? Because last season they did exactly the same.

3pm: Chelsea v Southampton

It’s quite astonishing, isn’t it, how we’ve been boosting Chelsea? Thomas Tuchel looked really dejected midweek after that Juventus defeat. The Manchester City game, I thought City gave the best performance of any team in the Premier League this season. For 90 minutes they were fantastic.

Chelsea have still only conceded two goals in the Premier League and, listen to this, Romelu Lukaku has scored nine goals against Southampton. I think he’s my NAP, Lukaku to Score Anytime. Certain players have a thing for certain teams and I’m expecting him to do it.

Southampton, no win yet in the Premier League, but they’re the big draw specialists. They drew with Manchester City recently, but I don’t fancy them at all. I think Chelsea will bounce back.

5.30pm: Brighton v Arsenal

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Arsenal have won their last four games so they’ve got to be boosted, they’ve got to be full of confidence. They can’t go to Brighton and be expecting to win as they would normally do in days gone by.

Arsenal’s record is exactly the same as last season at this stage. Are they improving? Are they a better side under Mikel Arteta? Last season they started the same – won three, lost three.

Crystal Palace should have beaten Brighton on the Monday Night Football but you just can’t write them off. Neal Maupay was the only person alive to that ball because the defence were sleeping.

Thommo’s treble

This one gets me going, I must admit. I do fancy it. Some of the big guns in this, it’s Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all to Win on Saturday. I think that’ll be a good bet to start the weekend.

Thommo’s treble

Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all to Win.
