Making the list of games where we’ve found some good value in the markets are; Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Inter. Let’s have a look at what we’re putting our money on.

2.30pm: Bayern Munich vs Bochum: Bayern to Win to Nil

Bayern’s defence conceded a whopping 44 goals last season, a huge number for a title-winning side. At home, over their 17 Bundesliga games at the Allianz Arena they conceded 21 times and away from home 23 times. On average they conceded 1.24 goals per home Bundesliga game last season.

Things have improved a bit this season though, over their four most recent competitive games they’ve scored a mammoth 24 goals and only conceded one. Bochum have scored in all but one of their four league games so far but if this improving Bayern side can keep Barcelona scoreless at the Nou Camp the home side should be able to Win this game to Nil.

3pm: Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: Liverpool to Win to Nil

Liverpool dug deep against AC Milan midweek and came from 1-2 down to win their opening Champions League Group Stage match 3-2. Without having to travel they should still be fresh enough for this match and manager Jurgen Klopp may well revert to a more normal-looking starting XI after the changes he made for the Champions League clash.

Liverpool have now won four of their last five games, drawing the other. Palace, on the other hand, have only won one of their last five fixtures, drawing two and losing two and, most worryingly of all, have only scored in two of those five games. Liverpool have beaten Palace at Anfield in four of their five previous league meetings. The Red have kept them scoreless on three occasions and Liverpool have kept three clean sheets over their last five home Premier League games. We’re looking at another home Win to Nil here.

3pm: Man City vs Southampton: Man City to Win and Over 3.5 Goals

Since losing both of their season opening games, 1-0 to Leicester in the Community Shield and 1-0 to Spurs in the League, City have really gotten their act together. They’ve won all four of their games since, scoring 17 and conceding three, all of which were against RB Leipzig in the Champions League midweek. Southampton have only won one of their five games this season, an 0-8 away hammering of Newport County in the League Cup.

In the league they’ve drawn three and lost one, they’ve at least scored in three of those four games. City have beaten the Saints in all five of their most recent visits to the Etihad but all games ended with Southampton scoring at least one. Over 2.5 goals landed in all five, Over 3.5 in three. With City finding their scoring boots again they could well make it rain here. There’s decent value to be found in backing the champions to win here and Over 3.5 goals.

3.15pm: Atletico Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao: Both Teams to Score

Atletico Madrid have won three and drawn two of their last five games in all competitions. Bilbao have won two of their four, drawing the other two. Over their five most recent encounters at the Wanda Metropolitana, the home side have won all five with BTTS and Over 2.5 goals both landing in three of them.

Atletico have conceded in three of their last five at home in La Liga and have conceded in three of their four La Liga games so far this campaign. Bilbao have also scored in three of their four La Liga games this season and, with a decent record of scoring against Diego Simeone’s side, Both Teams to Score above Evens is too good to say no to.

5pm: Inter vs Bologna: Inter to Win and BTTS

TV: BT Sport 3

Inter will be looking to bounce back after Real Madrid beat them midweek thanks to an 89th minute Rodrygo goal. The Italian champions have won two and drawn one of their Serie A games thus far, Bologna have also won two and drawn one in the league. When we compare home vs away form though things don’t look so rosy for the visitors side here. Inter have won all 17 of their most previous home Serie A games at the San Siro, Bologna have won just two of their last 10 away league matches.

However, they’ve a decent record away to Inter in the league. They’ve beaten them twice over their five most recent encounters there, Inter won two and one ended level. With both teams having started the league in good goal-scoring form BTTS should land here. Inter’s impressive home run and superior talent on the field should see them bagging the three points though. Inter to Win and Both Teams To Score rounds us up.
