For Wednesday’s Copa America matches we’ll be taking a look at Group B where bottom-of-the-table Ecuador have to come up with the goods against Peru. Neither side is in the best of form and honours have been pretty even between the teams in recent encounters. Later that night Brazil will host Colombia and can make it 10 wins on the trot should they take all three points.

Colombia always put in a good shift when taking on Brazil so we should see a good match. Let’s get into the stats and find some value bets.
Wednesday 10pm: Ecuador vs Peru: Both Teams to Score No Draw
Ecuador’s recent form is pretty bad, they’ve won just one of their last five fixtures, drawing one and losing three. In their previous five they had won three and lost two. Peru’s form is nothing to boast about either, winning two of their last five, losing the other three.
Their five matches prior to those saw them losing three and drawing two. Over their five most recent meetings, Peru have won three with Ecuador winning two. Over 2.5 goals and Both Teams to Score landed in three of them. Interestingly in the games where Overs and BTTS didn’t occur, Ecuador won both.

None of those five matches ended level and over their 10 most recent meetings only two have ended all square after ninety minutes. Both teams have a good record of scoring against each other, Ecuador scored in eight of those previous 10 meetings, Peru scored in six. Ecuador have no choice here other than to go for broke, with three games to go, including this one, they need to go for the win here or face elimination from the competition.
Peru got spanked in their opening match against Brazil but were fully deserving of their victory over Colombia on Sunday night. At times they’ve struggled for goals but in facing an Ecuador side who have kept just one clean sheet over their last 11 matches they should be good for at least one. Ecuador need the win and with these matches rarely ending level, we’re going with BTTS No Draw here.
Thursday 1am: Brazil vs Colombia: Brazil to Win and BTTS
At first glance we can see that the odds for Both Teams to Score are looking a bit high for a match involving such legendary sides of South American football. The reason being is that Brazil’s defence has been very strong of late, conceding zero goals over their last six matches.
However, these sides have met seven times over the last seven seasons and know each other pretty well and Brazil have only kept Colombia scoreless twice over those seven games. Brazil won four of those seven matches, Colombia won just one and two ended level.

Over 2.5 goals landed just three times with BTTS landing in four. Brazil are quite obviously in good form, scoring 13 over their five most recent games and Colombia have found the back of the net seven times over their last five games.
With that good record of late and their great overall record against Brazil we think Colombia are certainly good enough for at least one here. However, Brazil’s winning run doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon so we’re going with Brazil to Win and BTTS.
