For Wednesday’s football acca we’ll be taking a look at two of the La Liga’s Top 4, where Sevilla face Valencia and Atletico Madrid play Real Sociedad, Italian champions Inter and former holders Juventus are also in action and in the Premier League Chelsea look to continue their sparkling run of form against Arsenal.

Let’s find the value in the markets.

6pm: Sevilla vs Valencia: Sevilla to Win to Nil

Sevilla’s title aspirations don’t look like coming to much after losing recently to Athletic Bilbao and drawing with Real Madrid. They’re six points behind leaders Atletico Madrid with just three to play, so are relying on a major collapse to stand any hope of their first La Liga crown since 1946.

Sevilla have kept five clean sheets over their last eight home La Liga matches, winning six of those games, losing two. Valencia have lost five of their last seven on their La Liga travels, drawing two and failing to score in three. Sevilla have kept Valencia scoreless in two of their last three previous visits and with their impressive record for clean sheets at home this season there’s good value in Sevilla to Win to Nil here.

7.45pm: Inter vs Roma: Inter to Win & BTTS

Inter haven’t lost a single Serie A game over their last 19. Roma have lost three of their last five in the league. At home things are even better for Inter at the San Siro where they’ve won all 14 of their most recent Serie A fixtures played there.

Roma have lost four and drawn one of their last five on their league travels but they’re usually good for a goal on the road, averaging 1.35 goals per away game and BTTS has landed in four out of five previous meetings here. Inter’s incredible run should continue but Roma’s scoring record should see them get on the scoresheet. Inter to Win and BTTS is the best play.

Andrea Pirlo

7.45pm: Sassuolo vs Juventus: BTTS in the Second Half

The pressure is really on Juventus to deliver here after their shamefully bad showing in the 0-3 home loss to Milan last weekend. Anything less than a win could see them doomed to the Europa League next season and they face a Sassuolo side who have won five and drawn one of their last six matches.

Sassuolo are one of the best teams in the league for second-half performances and particularly at home where they’ve won 11 of their 17 matches, scoring 22 over 17 games. Juventus are one of the best in the league in the second half of away games, winning eight of their 17 matches, scoring 17 over 17. With those stats and the odds for BTTS in the Second Half we’re getting great value on this one.

8.15pm: Chelsea vs Arsenal: Chelsea to Win

Were it not for the fact that Premier League games are running out, Chelsea would probably overtake Manchester United above them such is their form. The Blues are unbeaten over their seven most recent matches in all competitions and are also unbeaten over their five most recent Premier League games, winning four and drawing one.

Arsenal have won two, drawn one and lost two of their five most recent matches. Of their five most previous Premier League games they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one. Away from home things are quite good for the Gunners domestically where they’ve won three of their last five, drawing the other two, scoring a pretty healthy 12 over those five games. Chelsea though have kept seven clean sheets over their last eight top-flight games at home and we can only see yet another Chelsea victory here.

9pm: Atletico Madrid vs Real Sociedad: Atletico Madrid to Win

Atletico top the league on 77 points, and after Barcelona could only draw 3-3 at Levante on Tuesday night, can now stretch their advantage over the Catalans. Neighbours Real Madrid sit two points behind Atleti having both played a game less than Barca, and now look to be the chief rivals to Diego Simeone’s side for top spot.

Their home league form has seen them win four of their last five, drawing the other. Sociedad have won one of their last five on their La Liga travels, drawing and losing two each. Atletico have beaten Sociedad in six of their last seven meetings at home too and with the league title within their grasp they should take all three points here.
