Jamie Hughes was top dog last night with three wins from three to top the group. ‘Yozza’ was interrupted by some technical issues but he got there in the end.
In the footballer’s version, it was Preston’s Paul Gallagher who won. He played some great darts which included a 108 check-out! He beat James Maddison of Leicester, Declan Rice of West Ham and Charlie Austin of West Brom to win the title. Congrats to him!
Right, on to today’ action… Day 35 is upon us, and it’s a competitive one with Keegan Brown, Reece Robinson, Jose De Sousa and Robert Thornton all in action.
19.35 Keegan Brown v Reece Robinson
Keegan Brown gets another bite of the cherry today after his WiFi failed back on Day 12. The 27-year-old faces Reece Robinson in his opener today, and hopefully his broadband upgrade does the trick!
Brown takes blood samples for the NHS and his brilliant nickname is ’the needle’. He’s also a former World Youth Champion. Despite that, I’m expecting a decent display from ‘The Sugar’ Robinson here. He has won twice on the development tour and that is a tell-tale sign of a good player.
De Sousa is the first PDC ranking event winner to be from Portugal. Thornton ‘The Thorn’ is a player we know all about. We have seen him in the Premier League and he’s a former UK Open and World Grand Prix winner making his debut in this tournament.
But I fancy De Sousa to win this one. He’s in good form and Thornton’s game is just not firing at the minute.

I fancy Robinson with a 5-4 win here at 7/1. That’s a very decent price.

My selection here is a 5-3 De Sousa win at 4/1.
Tonight’s treble
My three best bets of the day folks are Robert Thornton to beat Reece Robinson 5-3 at 7/2. This is my NAP.
Then I like Keegan Brown to beat Jose De Sousa 5-3 at 15/2 and I also fancy Brown to see off Robert Thornton 5-3 at 4/1. This is my NB.
You can put all those in a treble and it works out at 190/1 Folks. I think it has a great shout.
Best of luck with your bets guys and stay safe!
