13:50 Newmarket – Dark Thirty (Each Way)
DARK THIRTY has kept some very smart company and over a variety of distances. Surprisingly he only has three tries down over 6 furlongs and he’s drawn in the centre so should get an ideal run in this contest and could even make the running if nobody decides to go forward. He might even sneak into double digits which would make him an each way play.
14:25 Newmarket – Immortal Knight
IMMORTAL KNIGHT took a little time for the penny to drop on his racecourse debut at Kempton 133 days ago, however, when he found his stride, he really powered over the finishing line in impressive fashion, he goes against some more proven opposition, but he’s clearly nowhere near his ceiling yet.
15:00 Newmarket – The Foxes (Each Way)
THE FOXES managed to win the Royal Lodge over a mile here also finished second in the Craven before going onto York and winning the Dante over a mile and a quarter and he didn’t run badly in the Derby. He was aimed at a big prize abroad in the early part of the season, which didn’t come to fruition, but he can get back on track over the intermediate 1m 1f distance.
15:35 Newmarket – Dance Sequence
DANCE SEQUENCE made it two from two when winning and jumping up in grade over this course and distance when we last saw her. She seem to get a little lost coming down the hill and will clearly have benefited from that experience. This can be her springboard for the 1000 guineas, and with an eye on that, she could well be worth an ante Post punt for the big one.
