17:20 Taaqat
The shortlist is headed by the 3yos TAAQAT and Pull The Lever, who are less exposed than most of their older rivals. The former is bred to rate higher still, while the latter is open to progress over this new trip. Handicap debutant Navy Drums is interesting, while a big hike in the weights may not stop Trusty Rusty from remaining competitive.

17:53 Clochette
Revisit should build on her debut success, while Kempton second Full Prime (second choice) should be firmly in the mix, but they don’t set the bar too high so there’s a suspicion this may go to a newcomer, with a chance taken on Andrew Balding’s CLOCHETTE. The Big Board, Yoo Bee See and Statu Of Liberty are other debutantes with plenty to recommend them on paper.
18:28 Seductive Power
The form standard is set by SEDUCTIVE POWER who showed ability in two maidens here last month, while Sunningdale looks a possible improver back down in class. Seductive Power is rather a tentative selection as he takes on some interesting newcomers, most notably Chaldean (second choice) and Bailey Gate. Any positive market moves should be strongly heeded.
19:03 Flamenco Fan
Handicap debutante FLAMENCO FAN looks capable of further progress over 6f and is taken to follow up her Windsor novice success. Second choice is class-dropper Tarhib. Last year’s winner Crazy Luck is on a tougher mark now but she’s hard to dismiss, while Makarova may still have more to offer and Noya is unexposed.
19:38 Daiquiri
Having won with such authority over 1m4f on his handicap debut at Doncaster, DAIQUIRI looks the safest option despite his 8lb rise. However, it’s not hard to think that there are major dangers lurking with Silverscape (second choice) having shaped so well before his latest start, Upton Park showing plenty of promise on the AW and Admiralty House doing so more recently on turf.

20:08 Wonder Starelzaam (NAP)
It’s tough to ignore the claims of WONDER STARELZAAM (nap) who had something to spare in a course apprentice race last Tuesday and is able to race from the same mark here (due to be 7lb higher from Saturday). Precisely (second choice) ran well back on turf last time and can fight it out for minor honours with the likes of Katyusha and Pledge of Honour. There’s also still time for Lost Gold to get his career back on track.
20:40 Queen Of Comedy
Judged on breeding there should be more to come from QUEEN OF COMEDY, who gets the vote. Second choice is Control, who ties in with the selection on Nottingham running. The Covex Kid is still of interest, while Global Tycoon warrants respect on his turf debut and Codify is another suggestion for the shortlist.
