Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
- BUT PADDY, I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT! NO WORRIES – HERE’S LUCKY 15 BETTING EXPLAINED
13:00 Plumpton – Super Duper Sam (Ipswich Star, Matt Polley)
SUPER DUPER SAM just held on to win good-ground Newbury bumper on debut in November and has finished second on both hurdle starts, most recently when back at Newbury (2m, soft) three weeks ago. Probably needs to improve to win but pedigree offers significant hope he’ll be suited by the step up in trip.
13:35 Plumpton – Ballinsker (Steve Mullington)
BALLINSKER was nowhere near the best of his hurdling form since switched to fences, but was clear second to a next-time-out winner in a much stronger race than this at Warwick (2m4f, good to soft) two starts ago. Certainly didn’t run badly when third of four at Leicester (2m6f, good) last month and has a good chance.
14:20 Stratford – Interne De Sivola (Morning Star, Farrindgon)
INTERNE DE SIVOLA scored at Cheltenham in December and was unlucky not to add to that when second to Silver Shade at Fontwell last month with a bad mistake two out proving costly. He enjoys a 3lb pull in the weights with that rival and is sure to go well.
15:30 Stratford – Osprey Call (Racing Ahead, Ben Morgan)
OSPREY CALL is back hurdling and jumped better than previously when stylish winner of 2m Warwick handicap 30 days ago. Up 4lb but he still has few miles on the clock and is weighted to go well again.
