13:45 – Hatcher
Hatcher ran pretty well here in October when third to Before Midnight. It’s really interesting that he ran in the Elite Hurdle last weekend, maybe that was seen as a sharpener for this?
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
14:20 – My Drogo
Both Gin On Lime and Embittered are progressive and consistent but My Drogo looks a bit special. It is an era with lots of ‘special’ horses knocking about so this is a great chance for My Drogo to get going over fences and keep accumulating the 1s by his name.
14:55 – Freewheelin Dylan
Freewheelin Dylan is an Irish National winner who should enjoy the decent ground. There’s a question mark about the Cross Country course but not about the trip, so he’s worth taking a chance on.
15:30 – Kayf Hernando
Kayf Hernando just beat an odds-on shot of Donald McCain las time at Carlisle and the style of racing suggests that the extra furlong and the hill will suit him.
16:00 – Skippin Court
Skippin Court won an 18-runner maiden hurdle at Listowel and looked impressive. This may not have been the plan all along but his trainer Peter Fahey is pretty shrewd, so watch the market.
