No surprise if Godolphin’s SUMMER’S DAY proved up to landing this on debut, as she’s a sister to a useful winner and half-sister to a two-year-old 6-furlong winner. Form of Praise improved straight away on her second start when runner-up at Beverley and will be a formidable opponent, while Phryne is another newcomer to note.

Mostly newcomers, but it will take a good one to stop Kempton runner-up MOON ISLAND from going in at the second time of asking. My Silent Song and Citrus Grove look the pick of the debutantes.

19:05 Admirality

Several in with chances here but it could pay to side with ADMIRALITY, who confirmed previous promise when finishing runner-up over course and distance 3 weeks ago and is taken to snap a lengthy losing run of over two years from this unchanged mark. Hortzadar’s last effort is easily excused, so he’s feared most, ahead of Great King and Just Frank.

MONTATHER made it 3-4 when a stylish Chelmsford scorer on his return and Roger Varian’s lightly-raced four-year-old is fancied to go in again at the chief expense of course and distance winner Colony Queen, who bids for a hat-trick for her new yard. Aerion Power is also sure to have a say now stepping up in trip in an intriguing handicap.

20:05 Sea La Rosa

SEA LA ROSA had something to spare when off the mark at Chepstow last time and gets a generous weight-for-age allowance now handicapping against older rivals, so she’s strongly fancied to go in again. Au Clair de Lune has a profile of general progression, so she’s the obvious danger, with Squelch a player if allowed her own way in front.

20:35 Ustath

The speedy USTATH should have little difficulty with the drop back to 5 furlongs and is narrowly preferred to Eeh Bah Gum, who is on a losing run but this is the first time for a good few years that he’s dipped to 0-70 level. Passional is also shortlisted.
