MOVIN TIME looked really good beating a strong field at Newmarket on his return to action in 2021. That form has been boosted significantly with the second being successful at Royal Ascot. He had a troubled passage on the way round in the Hampton Court as he was forced wide and did fair too much in the early stages. Considering that it wasn’t a bad performance at all, he can continue his climb up the ladder here.
It’s a wide open handicap up at Class Two company and a few of these can be given an opportunity at their very best. One or two are dropping down the handicap like Indianapolis, and so we need to keep a close eye on the market with him.
However, JUST HUBERT never got into his race at Newcastle after being checked and stopped very early on going into the first turn. He’s not particularly well handicapped, but he gets a big jockey upgrade in the saddle in the form of Tom Marquand. Meanwhile, he addition of cheek pieces can help him focus and get a slice of the action at a nice each way price.
METHOD was a cracking two-year-old, but as yet has only had a limited career this season. It didn’t start too badly up at Haydock when he was close up behind the sprinting find of the season Rohaan. He didn’t reproduce at all in the July Cup when faced with Group One company.
He fluffed his lines at the start and gave it away at the gate, which is impossible to get back at that level. He should be a touch sharper here, he’s unexposed and doesn’t look like he’s at his ceiling at the moment. It could be a profitable afternoon for our jockey Tom Marquand.
I’ve no idea if Snowfall is capable of reproducing her 16-length success from Epsom. That it was such a demolition that surely unless she falls over, she’s going to win this in a canter. She is so far clear on official ratings that it will be just a question of when Ryan Moore pushes the ‘go’ button.
What a fantastic purchase by his trainer at just £10,500! CHIPOTLE look like a rocket very early on at Doncaster and confirmed that with a Royal Ascot success. Oisin Murphy gets the call in the saddle as his normal pilot is suspended at the moment.
Our rider is fresh off a Royal Ascot and July meeting successes up in lofty company, which shows his confidence is sky high. I have also been keeping an eye on a horse called Adnaan in the line-up and although he has a mountain to climb on official ratings, he may just get a slice of the place money.
